Flu and COVID 19 guidance
We prioritise our client and staff safety and are closely following government and updated NHS guidelines aimed at preventing the spread of flu, COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses.
Our services offer a range of appointments in order to provide greater flexibility and choice for people who access us, manage demand for our services and provide treatment safely and effectively. Our appointments are offered via the telephone, through workshops, video and in person at our team bases. This is determined by what treatments are identified as being suitable for your difficulties. This will be discussed and agreed with you at the outset, and regularly reviewed during your course of treatment.
If you have an in person appointment, please contact your therapist in advance if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, continuous cough, runny or blocked nose, shortness of breath, tiredness and bodyache. If you feel well enough to continue with your appointment, your therapist may be able to advise that the session proceeds over video rather than come on site. If you do test positive for COVID 19, please do not attend in person and contact your therapist to change this to an online appointment.
Please let your therapist know if you prefer that they wore a mask and if you would also prefer to wear a mask, particularly if you feel you are at risk due to being in a vulnerable group (for example if you have a long term physical health condition).
